However, she was there with the intention of tackling Nikki Bella and Naomi. Subsequently, she got a match with Naomi in the Battleground Pre-show. Ariana defeated Naomi in the match. There was a rivalry between the two in the aftermath. Throughout the summer they fought in several handicap singles and tag match matches. Since then, until 2016, Ariana wrestled alongside fellow wrestlers including Paige Bella Twins Alicia Fox and Asuka. WWE revealed in the year 2016 that Ariana was released following two months. Arina has joined WWE NXT after her resignation from WWE. Arina appeared in a variety of episodes of NXT as well as the NXT Women's Championship.
